My academic background is in the History of Science, but I've been interested in spaceflight since grade school when I found a cartoon of two astronauts on the Moon. I've parlayed my seven-year-old self's curiosity about the Apollo program into a career as a spaceflight historian and freelance writer. In addition to Vintage Space, I write for Discovery News, Scientific American, Ars Technica, and Al Jazeera English among others. I'm also working on my first book, a narrative look at the era I call spaceflight's prehistory. You can find links to all my work, the fulll Vintage Space archive (dating back to 2010), and updates on ongiong projects on my website.
