Here’s a quick and safe way to quickly clean your hands after getting some sticky polyurethane on them.

Rather than soaking a rag in mineral spirits (or, turpentine, for you old hand woodworkers) and dabbing yourself with an ugly petroleum distillate, just dust your hands with fistful of Cornstarch Baby Powder.

For the best cleaning results, be sure to thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water before you apply your eco-friendly clean-up technique. Your hands will be free of sticky residue and you’ll smell pretty good, too.

Please note, if you wash your hands, you might need a reapplication of baby powder.
