The Editorial Assistant position at Popular Science is a fantastic introduction to running a modern media organization. Working closely with the executive editor and the editor-in-chief, you’ll be a key figure in crafting original stories across multiple platforms. In addition to handling the contracts and agreements that help keep the place running, you’ll be writing, reporting, editing, fact-checking, filming, recording, podcasting, brainstorming, agonizing, celebrating, re-doing, creating from scratch, and pretty much anything else you can think of that happens in a modern newsroom.
