My job is to find cool stuff. Throughout the week I spend hours scouring the web for things that are useful or fun or ridiculously cheap. Often times, these choices coalesce into a guide of like items—for example, 50 board games for people who love TV and film or things to help you celebrate holidays like Pi Day. But I often stumble across some pretty awesome stuff that doesn’t really fit into a list. So I made a list for those. The only thing they have in common is that I like them—and think you will too.
Below, five highlights from this week that have turned me green with envy.
The OXX Coffeeboxx single-serve coffee maker uses coffee pods, and boasts a 3-foot retractable chord and a 2.5-liter spill-proof water tank. The rubberized handle makes it comfortable to carry around and the removable drip tray makes it a breeze to clean. Don’t worry if you are a tea person—there is even a separate line just hot water. To be clear, I don’t really use Keurig-like machines, personally, but if you do, this is a durable, portable option. $209.
If you like spice and put Sriracha on everything, check out the Midori Green Chili Sriracha Sauce, which is made of all natural green chilis. $7.
Control your core temperature and body moisture with the Mission VaporActive Alpha short sleeve T-shirt. The VaporActive shirt dries 5x faster, calling upon fibers that release moisture vapor. $30.
The TubShroom drain protector and hair catcher is made of a high quality silicone and will keep your tub or sink from clogging. It fits inside of your drain and picks up hairs as they are washed down. It comes in five colors, but green is the best. $13.
Try to recreate a Shamrock Shake with the Zoku slush and shake maker. It only takes about 7 minutes, be that for a healthy frozen fruit slushy or a decidedly less-than-healthy daiquiri. $18.
