why would you make a known false statement like that at the end, when it has been a proven fact for awhile now that the light house could not have possibly caused the sighting, because there has been a metal sheet covering the back of the lighthouse since it was first built, stopping it from shining light over land or anywhere close to that immediate direction!

Just a tiny nitpick: currently I believe Gliese 581g (not "d") is regarded as the most Earth-like analogue we know of.

talking about "Lake Vostok " we have to hope they didn't contaminate the lake last winter when they pour several gallons of diesel fuel down the hole.
