It's been a cat-heavy week in the future, which is just the way we like it. This week's Baarbarian illustration suggests a possible way Willow the long-distance housecat journeyed from his home in Colorado to PopSci's hometown, New York City, and that's how we'll believe it happened until proven otherwise.
Want to win this feline-focused Baarbarian illustration on a t-shirt? It's easy! The rules: Follow us on Twitter (we're @PopSci) and retweet our This Week in the Future tweet. One of those lucky retweeters will be chosen to receive a custom T-shirt with this week's Baarbarian illustration on it, thus making the winner the envy of their friends, coworkers and everyone else with eyes. (Those who would rather not leave things to chance and just pony up some cash for the t-shirt can do that here.) The stories pictured herein:
And don't forget to check out our other favorite stories of the week:
Five amazing, clean technologies that will set us free, in this month's energy-focused issue. Also: how to build a better bomb detector, the robotic toys that are raising your children, a human catapult, the world's smallest arcade, and much more.

why learn from your own mistakes, when you could learn from the mistakes of others?
the background needs a double sunset
"the background needs a double sunset" good call
I wonder if they will ever sell glow in the dark cats. they will probably cost thousands of $. pure bred casts already cost a #### load. can you imagine genetically modified lab cats? 10 grand probably. But it will probably be less likely to get run over.
