The Popinator Popcorn Indiana

If you're tired of relying on your merely-mortal hands to catapult popcorn into your maw during snack time, there's a better way. The Popinator will do it for you, do it better, and do it wherever you are in the room. Just say "pop."

Brought to you by snack company Popcorn Indiana, The Popinator will not only shoot you a piece of popcorn like it was an NBA star at the 3-point line, but also home in on the source of the sound for pinpoint accuracy (from up to 15 feet away).

Check out the video to see it in action. One person recommends it for use during video-game sessions, which sounds practical enough. It's better than trying it out in a movie theater, at least.

Fail, saw a big story on CNN they did on it that showed its a fraud. Apparently it works, but its remote controlled and not automatic.

How is it a hoax you say pop someone hits the button....sounds automatic to me...and the fact taht it still locates where the sound is coming from is pretty freaking sweet. Also it would be pretty easy to add voice launching to it!

Nice. But most people eat a handful of popcorn each time. So here you have to say pop every single time and every single time you receive 1 tiny piece. This will not still your hunger. It will certainly get annoying saying pop 500+ times to eat a normal amount of popcorn. It will also be cold long before you eat it all. Let alone the probably couple of hundred dollar price tag. But it will be a must have gadget for some.

how about a sniper umbrella that tosses mortars at wherever the shot came from, they could be very patient.
