iPad 2 Invitation "Come see of what 2011 will be the year"? Apple

Today, Apple sent out some exceedingly unsubtle invites to an event on March 2nd, at which the iPad 2 will presumably be announced. Awkward tagline aside, rumors have suggested the iPad 2 will have an improved processor (possibly dual-core, like the Motorola Xoom and BlackBerry Playbook), a front-facing camera, more memory, and (less likely) an SD card slot and an improved display. It may also come in a CDMA version for Verizon compatibility. [Engadget]

I actually have the original iPad and really like it. However, the new iPad 2 will undoubtedly have one if not two cameras built into them. For me, this is a deal breaker. Unless there is some way to physically disable both cameras, I will never buy this device.
As a parent with a 12 year old girl I think would just be irresponsible to allow a device that has both camera function and wireless transmission function on the same device.

So I am guessing you don't have a cell phone?

Actually I don't. My wife has one, but it doesn't have a camera.

No phone and an old ass phone. Hmmm, either this guy likes living in the stone age or is paranoid the government is watching him. I think you're missing something in that first comment, how bout "I think 'I' would just be irresponsible." How about you take more responsibility and monitor your kid. That makes a better parent. Quit blaming technology. "It" wouldn't get your kids in trouble if you educated them. Or you can just go back to being paranoid someone is spying on your daughter.
