Late to the bandwagon, I know, but this year I wanted to try out an Apple laptop for the first time. Not paying four digits was a perk, and the Grade A rating meant no screen burn or scratches, only a possibility of light wear on the body, and a minimum of 80% battery health—near mint condition.
At less than 3 pounds, the MacBook Air is perfectly portable for traveling, plus I really liked the super thin body and sleek silver shade. After getting set up, it looked great; the 13.3″ widescreen display with a 1440×900 native resolution is crystal clear. With an HD Graphics 6000 card, photos, videos, and designs look great on it.
The 1.8GHz Intel Core i5 processor makes for speedy processing, even when I’ve got multiple applications running. I can also have multiple programs without overloading such a thin computer with the 128GB SSD storage.
It’s equipped with a 12-hour battery, but even when it gets low, it charges very quickly while I’m still able to work on it.
The Grade A refurb assuaged my fears about buying electronics that aren’t straight out of the box, but it also comes with an aftermarket 90-day parts and labor warranty from a third party.
