Stop Renting Cloud Storage — Get 1TB for Life for $129.99
Cloud storage is convenient. Adding another recurring payment to the pile? Considerably less so.
Koofr Cloud Storage offers a different approach: pay once and get 1TB of storage for life. Through Oct. 11, the lifetime plan is $129.99 (MSRP $810) with code KOOFR.
That gives you plenty of room for documents, photos, multimedia, software, and the assorted digital stuff you’ve accumulated and aren’t quite ready to delete. More importantly, you’re not locked to one device. Koofr lets you access your files from a smartphone, personal computer, or through WebDAV.
It can also help bring an already-scattered cloud setup together. Koofr connects with existing Dropbox, Google Drive, Amazon, and OneDrive accounts, giving you one centralized place to access files stored across different services.
For the inevitable “Why do I have this file four times?” problem, there’s a Duplicate Finder to track down unnecessary copies. Advanced renaming options and link appearance customization give you additional ways to organize and share your files.
Privacy gets attention, too. Koofr doesn’t track users, and files are encrypted at rest and during transfer.
The biggest distinction, however, is the payment model. Instead of signing up for another recurring cloud storage charge, you’re making one purchase for lifetime access.
The service has also earned 4.6 out of 5 stars on both G2 and GetApp.
Use code KOOFR to get a Koofr 1TB Lifetime Subscription for $129.99 through Oct. 11.
