Too bad we're still on fossil fuels.

Certainly there is plenty of blame to go around. The companies involved should have done a better job of ensuring that this kind of thing would not happen. But we often point the finger only at them and neglect to admit our own culpability in this and every other similar disaster. We typically are just as greedy as the companies (go figure, since companies are just made up of people) in our consumption of energy. We want the cheapest we can find, and turn a blind eye to how we get it.

Those who really care should be willing to find ways to reduce their total energy usage (including consumption of goods and services) even if it costs us more money or doesn't allow us to life the lifestyle we'd like. And we need to do real research on how we do so, because there are plenty of "green" alternatives out there that are just as bad in the overall scheme of things as their "brown" counterparts.

First off, this is probably a result of the dispersants used, not the oil. As much oil as was coming out of BP's well naturally seeps from the floor of the Gulf on a daily basis. While it is likely that near the venting well, the concentrations were high and could well have had some mutagenic effects on the animal life, it should not be expected to be a widespread or lingering effect.

Secondly, this type of event should never again require the use of dispersents and it never should have in the first place. Thanks to an American entrepreneur, we now have a method that takes very little energy to to produce and use to extract oil from the surface of the ocean. Oh, and did I mention that it is entirely non-toxic? This new invention uses plastic wheels that simply rotate in the water with a skimmer that removes all the oil that it picks up. A single unit can pick up thousands of gallons a minute with >95% being oil. Or put differently, for every 95 gallons of oil, it removes less than 5 gallons of sea water. All of this with a simple electric motor turning a bunch of plastic disks backed up by a large holding tank.

When did Al Jazeera become a credible news source. Why haven't American media resources published a story on it?

Just as I predicted. Don’t be mad at just BP. Be mad and the Obama government for giving them carte blanche to “clean up” the spill anyway they wanted too, w/o government supervision. (Except to arrest people coming to the beaches to document the event.) Many news sources (NOT CNN OR NBC) were screaming that corexit is toxic. Corexit was illegal in the U.K at the time. And BP is owned by foreign European interests, but the Americans let them use it on one of their biggest fisheries…the Gulf. Disgusting I stopped eating shrimp from the gulf the minute the spilled happened. All it takes is a little money and every thing that is unsafe magically becomes safe.

Why does Al Jazeera have to report this…anwer there are no credible news sources in the LAME stream news. You want real news go to Druge report or Infowars.

Oh come on, I was 'reported' for laughing?? It's HILARIOUS that anyone would willingly eat anything coming out of the gulf because it 'looked' clean... when DUH, the results didn't actually take long make themselves evident.

Just make it LAW that all oil company employees that work in the GULF, Management, Administration and STOCK Board must eat only their protein source food from the GULF.

Perhaps then they are motivated to do the job right and to clean up their mess.

So much for popular science. Anecdotal third party reports with assumptions as to what is causing the issue. Please state things as a hypothesis and give us some idea that someone is actually going to test it. Yes the possiblity is strong that oil or chemicals used in the cleanup caused these deformities either directly or indirectly. However, the basis of science is skepticism not conclusion jumping.

Why hasn't the American "media resources" published the story on what REALLY happened after CERN's September 2011 announcement claiming neutrinos were exceeding the speed of light @ v-c/c=2.48e-5 sec in 453.6 miles? This was regarded as the most carefully made announcement and the greatest discouvery in the History of Physics with research funding and top reputations at stake but all carefully checked data showed it to be true. The outcome of CERN's announcement inviting challenges to their measurement was published on Nature's Forum in reply and the measurement was confirmed when it was shown Stanford's SLAC E158 data on the Asymmetry of the Weak Force matched CERN's neutrino speed at 2.48e-5 in 453.6 miles and was the cause of the gain.

The exact match in the distance light travels in 2.48e-5 of a second has exposed the most stunning accuracy of any measurement ever made in physics as E158's data is the ratio of one hour added to the distance light travels at the speed of light in one thousand years so good luck trying to pass it off as a coincidence or a lose cable. Even if E158's ratio was within 1000 miles at the SOL it would be considered a stunning and valid match allowing for some expected inaccuracy in the E158 data but it was a seemingly impossible exact match that would be within .10e-5 even without the asymmetry added to space.

The data comparison was so accurate it not only showed CERN's measurement was accurate yet the SOL was not broken, it showed any physicist with natural intuition the the gain in time adding space was caused by the neutrino supplying the space/time needed for the intermediary state, once called "imaginary" as anything associated with the second reverse arrow of time was called in making the math work, to transfer the photon's energy from the weak force to the strong force at the SOL exposing the cause of the asymmetry of the weak force and CP violation, not the SOL being exceeded as it appears.

But even more importantly it created the .20e-5 Harmonic Comma now known as Einstein's Comma in the correct Mass oscillation phase as stated years in advance showing the asymmetry being added to space as well as time. The comma being exposed changed physics forever by revealing the location of the "missing" Graviton misidentified as the "hole" in electronics for decades occurring in the second reverse Mass oscillation phase of the atom opposite the electron adding a 4th part to the atom in showing time is connected to Mass Oscillation within the Weak Force, and the space created relative to time is the Force Carrier of Gravity. Space is an element within each atom created which makes sense when you finally accept the fact that matter is made of energy AND true inertial frame based space and time that requires the Observer's Mass, not the "ether".

You would expect just the data matching without adding anything else to get "Media" coverage but due to politics all it created after the straightforward calculations posted showed SLAC's E158 data matching CERN's was a "story" five months later about a lose cable checked countless times to try to hide the discovery and not give credit to the rightful owner. Because of the Internet and E158's prior history of being connected and instrumental to the Unified Field Theory equation that goes back to the late 70's in association with the design of the ITS Helicopter control system and later association with the correction of the DNA's gene ensemble instance summery this will prove impossible to hide as History is not blind.

The obvious explanation for the added 2.48e-5 of a second stopped all the professional rebuttals of CERN's data on Nature's Forum that included CERN scientists and sent SLAC's E158 Google page results to 10, 20, then 100 pages on SLAC in 3 1/2 weeks from just a few entries after SLAC's E158 data had gone unnoticed for years.

The only continued "search" for the answer were amateurs that didn't see what happened and disinformation to hide the discovery worth billions of dollars redirecting a great deal of funding as the harmonic comma reveals what the Einstien-Planck equation should have shown the experts even without correction adding the comma which in doing again shows Albert Einstein correct for it breaks the equation into separate equations of two directions of entropy giving two sides to an information frame needed for accurate measurement. You cannot have up without down or put up where down goes, or have nothing without "something" to create nothing as the opposite of itself. The logic of an information frame exposes an obvious information arrow relative to time which requires the Observer's first Mass location to measure from. This shows the "experts" who ridiculed Albert Einstein's intuition and called him a "19th Century Thinker" over his stand on QM were wrong.

Inertial frame based time removes chance supporting what the Great Professor said: "God does not play dice with the Universe". Indeed Mass does not and dark matter is no longer missing...for it never existed in the first place but here is yet further reason to hide the E158 data for it shows all the knowledge of facts and skills of mathmatics are useless without intuition and a computer will only show what you program it show. The data Einstein needed to solve the Unified Field Theory that first placed the E158 data out of necessity was not available when he lived as it is to today's "experts" who believed they passed Einstein by as they played with the dice he refused to accept and his equation that now has a partner outside of the weak force: E=m+{a}c2 correcting the error detected in Newton's law F=m+{a}a as real time is restored and motion in spacetime is given a basis for measurement with time and space replacing the ether.

CERN's neutrino's @ v-c/c=2.48e-5 followed and supported both Femilab's observation of the neutrino's speed and other observations dealing with light that go back to Sommerfeld's 1947 observations of evanescent modes in FTIR between double prisms showing the optical phenomenon represents the analogy of quantum mechanical tunneling that prior to SLAC's data being posted was said to be outside the bounds of Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity in an ongoing debate over the years highlighted again in 2007 by G. Nimtz, and A. A. Stahlhofen [arXiv:0708.0681v1] and miss-corrected again using Maxwell's ancient equations by Herbert G. Winful [arXiv:0708.0681v1] in the debate that finally ended with the discovery of CERN and SLAC's E158 data matching.

Denying an obvious distance in space traversed is too deny real time and adding delay to resolve a clock running fast only works if it slows the clock down: the asymmetry of the weak force is a cosmological constant and fortunately cannot be slowed down. G. Nimtz, and A. A. Stahlhofen are correct to the point of failing to add the asymmetry of the weak force gained and claiming SR violated, and Herbert G. Winful as brilliant and experienced as he is....is flat out wrong.

Then there is the story of Maluhia Country Ranches HOA in the President's home State the media refuses to report on where a law suit filed stopping illegal Board activity was ended because law enforcement illegally assisted a political lobbyist steal the evidence and legal papers 21 days before winning the case where an MCR Board member who is a Boeing scientist with high security clearances and political connections claimed he owned the subdivision road in front of his property stopping HOA member access while he broke the CC&Rs to build in a restricted setback area.

When you examine the politics behind these two important stories that are unfortunately interlinked you will see mainstream media's job has become controlling the politics of greed, not reporting the most important news truthfully. It took five months to come up with the “lose” cable story. Within two months news of SLAC’s E158 match to CERN’s data was well known in the upper levels of CERN. I believe History will show one lie and one dishonest scientist now assigned to space junk detail stopped the announcement of the greatest discovery in the History of Physics because it exposed the growth of the worst characteristics inherent in Mankind. Einstein warned us what would happen if we failed to react to these characteristics and if he was correct about Quantum Mechanics then he was likely correct about everything and we are running out of time to make corrections as History repeats itself. Only one thing can save us now and it is the same thing that can cause our extinction: The Advancements in Science.

Believing a media controlled by politics hiding scientific advancements for hidden agendas will only prove Einstein right again. So will surviving by changing our behavior and learning to act in good faith and be truthful with each other and not acting like gang members of one side to seek wealth. It’s starts with enforcing our Constitution to protect our Civil Rights and the Laws that create Order needed to balance our own entropy.

We have a powerful tool called the Internet; I suggest everyone start using it better.

Search v-c/c=2.48e-5 and follow where it takes you to learn what is really going on and do the best you can, not necessarily what you did yesterday. When you see something is wrong remember you are connected to it through energy and your own action is what counts in the outcome of your reality and you will get exactly what you put out, it just takes more and more time to complete each reaction's cycle.
