NASA tends to be better known for their spacecraft than their cars, but the awesome-looking Modular Robotic Vehicle (MRV) might just change that.

In the video above, you can watch NASA put the electric vehicle prototype through its paces, showing off its ability to drift, park, and even be piloted via remote control.

Each of the four wheels is capable of moving independently, making the battery-powered MRV insanely agile, and amazingly good at parallel parking.

As a prototype developed in concert with the automotive industry, the MRV won’t be coming to a road near you anytime soon, but it could be used to help develop awesome cars for future planetary explorers.
