Hurricane Joaquin Spawns Storm Memes In Face Of Uncertain Path

Hurricane Joaquin is building strength over the Bahamas, and although the path of the storm is uncertain the East Coast of the United States is preparing for possible landfall. The governors of New Jersey and Virginia have already pre-emptively declare a state of emergency, and the storm itself is being handled with extreme caution by government officials and scientists.

Some folks are finding humor in coverage of the storm though, resulting in some clever memes. Most of these memes involve actor Joaquin Phoenix, but others poke fun at the predicted paths Joaquin will take. While these are definitely funny, we’re obligated to remind you that hurricanes can be devastating and those who may be affected should take all of the necessary precautions.
