Maker Faire: This Plasma-Filled Glass Robot Can Dance

Okay, so it's a robot-shaped marionette—still awesome

Engineer Wayne Stratman is used to encasing gas plasmas in glass. To create an amazing project for this year’s World Maker Faire, he blew glass into the shapes of a robot’s head, torso, and limbs, then linked them together to create a plasma-filled glass marionette. Stratman told host Sam Roberts about his plans to make PlasmaBot fully automated.
