My job is to find cool stuff. Throughout the week I spend hours scouring the web for things that are useful, fun, or ridiculously cheap. Often times, these choices coalesce into a guide of like items—for example, 22 things that make traveling way less stressful or the best headphones for an open-plan office. But I often stumble across some pretty awesome gear that doesn’t really fit into a list. So I made a list for those.

If you’re afraid of the frosty weather, work up a sweat with a video game from your living room. Creed: Rise to Glory is a new VR boxing game for PS4. Like other boxing games, you fight a computer opponent one-on-one. Where Creed offers a twist is in how it uses VR. Within the game, they include something called “Phantom Melee Technology.” As you fight, a gray body-double reacts to amount of damage your fighter has taken. If you get knocked out, the gray double becomes out of sync with the fighter’s body. You must mimic that gray double’s movements—by swaying back and forth in real life—in order to regain control. The game also has sweet graphics with reactive crowds and features multiple game modes like career mode or an exhibition mode for practice. $30.

If you don’t have the PSVR, you can get a Creed and VR bundle for $350.
