Five rad and random things I found this week

The end-of-week dispatch from PopSci's commerce editor. Vol. 30.

My job is to find cool stuff. Throughout the week I spend hours scouring the web for things that are useful or fun or ridiculously cheap. Often times, these choices coalesce into a guide of like items—for example, laptop accessories that will upgrade your entire life, items to elevate your binge watching, or the best new phone cases for your smartphone. But I often stumble across some pretty awesome gear that doesn't really fit into a list. So I made a list for those.

The machine comes with a 1.5-liter tank and allows you to adjust the coffee volume—ristretto, espresso, lungo—the milk temperature, and the milk texture. There are 8 texture levels and 11 milk temperature settings. Scroll through the LCD display and pick between drinks like straight espressos, lattes, or cappuccinos. $480.
