And now, at last, a release date has been announced. According to Nintendo's E3 livestream, Pokémon Go will launch in late July.

In addition to the app, details were revealed regarding the upcoming Pokémon Go wearable. Retailing for $34.99, the Pokémon Go Plus will flash when a wild Pokémon ready to catch is nearby. Those who aspire to catch 'em all will want to snag the device online or in stores. The Go Plus wrist device will also offer functionality with Pokémon's upcoming main series titles: Pokémon Sun and Moon.
