Pokémon Go will release an Apple Watch app, coming later this month. The app will allow players to see nearby Pokémon, swipe Pokéstops and earn medals right on the watch.
The company made no mention of the Pokémon Go Plus wearable. The Pokéball-looking wearable allows players to gain steps and be alerted to Pokémon nearby using a $35 wrist wearable. With the Apple Watch app, many may choose to use this instead.
