The wait continues for the first piece of official hardware associated with Nintendo’s Pokémon Go. The Pokémon Go Plus wristband was supposed to arrive this month, but has been delayed until September:

Aside from being an even-clearer sign that someone is playing Pokémon Go, the wristband will be a bluetooth notification system that alerts players when they’re near pokémon or pokéstops without having to take their phone out to check.

The peripheral would have been a much-needed infusion of new action for the game, which has plateaued since its incredible rise just a couple of weeks ago.
