The video, titled Through the Ages, is a collaboration with Oculus, Felix & Paul Studios and National Geographic. The film meanders through forests, rivers and mountains, highlighting El Capitan, the Merced River, Yosemite Falls and the sequoias of Mariposa Grove.

Obama concludes with a reflection about the importance of protecting our national parks and landmarks from climate change.

You can watch Through the Ages on Gear VR or as an interactive 360-degree video on Facebook.
