It might take a few seconds to notice what’s unusual about the HondaJet: The plane’s turbofan engines sit on top of its wings rather than below them. This configuration decreases drag on the plane, making it 10 percent faster and 12 to 17 percent more fuel-efficient than other light jets in its size class.
