Maker Faire: Go Inside A 30-Foot Fire-Breathing Robot

Made from airplane parts

Shane Evans bought some used airplane parts from an airplane junkyard...and used them to build a 30-foot-tall robot. Then he gave it the ability to shoot fire from its mouth and hands. At World Maker Faire 2015, hosts Katie Linendoll and Sam Roberts caught up with Evans. They got the inside scoop on his creation, and even sent their intrepid camera guy into the robot for some closeups.

Popular Science checked out the most amazing, innovative, and crazy projects at the 2015 World Maker Faire in New York City. Watch our complete coverage here. You can hear more from Katie on her podcast, and from Sam on SiriusXM.
