The Glyph virtual reality headset was one of many VR items at CES 2016, but it takes a unique approach: flip the headset up, and it can be worn as “premium” audio headphones. The device, made by startup Avegant, raised over $1.5M in its successful Kickstarter. Backers of the project who contributed $499 or more should be getting their headsets soon, while other members of the public should be able to pick up units for $700-per-headset in the springtime.
