In August 2007, Popular Science embarked on its first-ever Popular Science What’s New National College Tour. This 6,000 mile, 10 campus extravaganza introduced PopSci and sponsor brands to tens of thousands of eager new consumers in key markets across the country. The What’s New National College Tour is built around a single compelling idea: Give college students a unique hands-on environment to experience sponsors’ new-to-market products in a touch, try and buy atmosphere. Then extend their hands-on experience to the Web, to retailers and e-tailers and beyond.
The What’s New National College Tour will be expanded to 15 campuses and will be putting the latest technology into the hands of even more students across the country in 2008.
