Simone Giertz is the so-called queen of… let’s say “crappy” robots. Her Youtube channel shows robotics projects that sort of help make parts of your daily routine easier.
Well okay, they don’t, but it’s funny to watch.
No one likes terribly useless things that are funny to watch more than Stephen Colbert. So Giertz brought a few of her inventions to demonstrate, including the Applause Machine she built for Popular Science. They ranged from silly to dangerous, wielding everything from lipstick to knives.
