Confused? IKEA, which is now selling solar panels in its Britain stores, will offer installation support.

You got all your college furniture from there; now you can get solar panels from Ikea, too. The Swedish furniture company began selling solar panels in its Southampton, U.K., store today and plans to bring the product to all of its Britain stores in the new few months, the Associated Press reports.

Don't worry, you don't need to put the panels together yourself. Ikea will also sell consultation, design, installation, maintenance and energy monitoring services, the AP reports.

Home improvement stores in the U.S. do already sell home solar panels. But there's something about Ikea that makes the panels seem even more accessible. The level of handiness you need for Ikea furniture is definitely a step down from the kind of projects for which most people go to Home Depot or Lowe's.

Britain is a test market, Ikea Chief Sustainability Officer Steve Howard told the AP. The company plans to sell solar panels in other countries in the future.
