Host Katie Linendoll spoke with OpenROV’s co-creator, David Lang, about the drone’s development, applications—and the Kickstarter campaign that raised half a million dollars.

Popular Science checked out the most amazing, innovative, and crazy projects at the 2015 World Maker Faire in New York City. Watch our complete coverage here. You can hear more from Katie on her podcast.
