Maybe I've just watched too much LOTR but wouldn't it be possible to generate enough electricity for the world (plus a bunch of carbon reversers) using geo-thermal energy. I understand the technology isn't ready but wouldn't it be theorretically possible to generate unlimited power by tapping a volcano?
