Not going to play here. If I play anywhere it will be somewhere the game is important, not an after thought. Travian perhaps, it's always fun.
Duh, now I feel stupid just noticed the date on the original post. Probably a bit late on the inexpert advice eh?
Just off the top of my head you are pretty much in deep water. However 5 seconds of research found this which probably will get you at least a D. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microorganism
That was pointed out a long time ago and was declared a typo on the 2015. Do not know why it never got changed. If anyone emails Taylor they can point it out perhaps.
There was these two mice that sneaked in and loaded up....
54? Maybe you want 6 times 7?
Easy fix, have the system log your original purchase. That would be your "vote" on how you expect the prop to close. After that trade how you will for max profit. Have the system keep a stat "most correct first purchases". That will let those (like me) see how often we choose wisely. It will also let those who want to make the big bucks (also like me) do so however we so choose. I can not see that affecting anything whatsoever, if that is a word, that we do now. It will just add another aspect to the game. By the way this isn't a stock market. It does not work much like a stock market at all. It is a prediction market that people are using as a stock market. There is really little in the way of predictions being done here except perhaps before the stock makes it's first move. I am not complaining the game is what it is. But it is advertised as a predictive market game and that is what people expect when they come here to play don't yell at them about it. They will learn to like it or leave.
aylor Yup, I put a portion of my income in the market every month, yes even in this market. Never really related PPX with the Dow, other than wishing I could make the same profit with real money. Have day traded, not lately to much volatility and I don't have the time currently to baby sit an account. Sci-geek all the way I fear PPX interested me on the prediction aspect mainly as related to scientific predictions coming true or not. Volcano is a great example. If it matters I'd like to see this set up as a 'buy once market'. Make your prediction and live with it for a true predictive market. However I know that won't work as there would be no reason for people to come here every day. Any more questions? If so the answer is 42.
We argued this out a long time ago. I've dealt with several delcared disasters personally. This is how it works, at least in the U.S., how it works overseas is beyond my comprehension and I've went through most of the ICS training they have. (ICS = Incident command system) The local agency affected contacts their state officials and asks for a declaration of an emergency. The groups involved at this level vary from state to state and the type of problem you are dealing with. Then the state appeals to the Federal government for assistance. If the State doesn't declare and emergency FEMA will not, and I believe, can not get involved. Once the emergency is declared FEMA then decides if it is something they are going to get involved with. There are loss levels that have to be met and many many hoops you have to jump through. (took me a year and a half to finish up after the last one) Soooo States declare the emergency, not the Feds, the feds just decide if they are going to help. Unless I suppose Federal lands are involved, and probably anything terrorist related I've never ran into that personally. The crux of the matter seems to be IS vs AS. Sorry, "as posted" fits the current situation because it does not say "as posted by fema/doi" it just means that the emergency had to be drought related as posted on fema/doi. In this case what they were shooting for was a declaration of emergency for drought it was never specified who declared it. I never did read that this meant Fema or DOI had to declare the emergency, that just isn't the way the system works. Only that they picked up on the declaration and posted the details on their site.
Yup, and IMHO I can't see a trial ending by the end of the week that hasn't even had closing comments yet. But yet the stock is going up. Odd, but oh wait! There will be plenty of time to change your position once the news is posted or at the last minute on march 5th.
