Yes, thank you for all your hard work in PPX as well as taking care of the PopSci site in general. It's been great!
Except that the Transaction History is only available for a short amount of time after payout. To my knowledge, there isn't another place to view this information.
Paying, not playing (in the last sentence). As far as editing goes, this isn't the only site that doesn't currently have comment editing, so I don't mind too much.
Yes, the idea of forum moderation has been discussed before, and this is what that discussion amounted to: Because of the way the site is currently set up with Drupal, moderators would have all kinds of access they shouldn't have. Eventually that should change. There are limited resources available for the PPX. I think you'd be complaining more if you had to pay to play. And even if you wouldn't mind playing, keep quiet, 'cause some of us can't afford to.
The thing I find craziest about California currently is the 10% sales tax. When I was there in Dec/Jan, a cashier at Albertson's said Dec 31 was her last day; she was moving to Texas to escape the sales tax hike.
Why has this FutureStock shot up in price so quickly? Is it something about possible lending to GMAC, GM's financing body? http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/djf500/200901161438DOWJONESDJONLINE000835_FORTUNE5.htm Or is it just speculation? Input appreciated!
Yeah, it's much better to get it done and over with (while doing well, especially), than to leave and always wish you had gone back. Just a thought (too). Independent study does sound like fun, kinda wish I had tried it.
With some of the new developments that should be coming soon, such as leagues (maybe Taylor and others can clarify this thought), I think there will be other ways to keep all our moolah from sitting idle. I don't support upping the share limit; instead we should look at diversification. Thank you for your time and consideration. :)
Vulgarian, Though your post is logical, barrt814's is probably more along the lines of what PopSci will use. I'm going to suppose that spelling his name wrong was an accident, rather than an attempt at an insult (which is what the tone of that post lends itself to).
