Jonathan Coulton, PopSci's contributing troubadour and longtime friend, has a new DVD/CD set out titled "Best. Concert. Ever." Leave a question or comment below for a chance to win the goods. We'll announce our ten lucky winners on July 17th. Good luck!
I'm a big fan of JoCo's and I have every bit of his music I can possibly find (yes, that includes stuff like "Cobras" and the lead he sang for the Whiffenpoofs on "Midnight Train to Georgia") and while I already have this, I'm entering this contest for a girl. I like her a lot, and while I've introduced her to JoCo's fantastic body of work, I want to have a copy I can give her as a gift, and since I'm a poor jobless college student, I cannot afford to buy a second one at the moment. She's very nerdy and would love this about as much as most girls would love a necklace or earrings.
What's a podcast? Simply put, a podcast is a multimedia file that can be downloaded to your MP3 player or computer. PopSci's podcasts are like little variety shows, complete with music, informative interviews, and sometimes even photos and video. Each week, we'll talk to experts about the stories shaping the future of technology, from the frontlines of the "wired" war in Iraq to San Francisco's plan to turn dog droppings into electricityand everything in between.
I only just discovered this podcast even exist..ed? Anyway, I downloaded all of 'em except #9 since the link for that one's mp3 was broken.
