Yesterday morning, 5 am: Oh s***. I'm done for. The viral infection so potent it fells healthy 20-somethings for a week at a time, the epidemic so ubiquitous in our New York offices that it's now referred to simply as the PopSci Plague, the flu that crushes your brain and blows it through your digestive tract has finally come for me. It is my time. I can feel it: A sore throat and vague headache that are the opening salvos of a dispiriting scorched-earth campaign. It's too late to fight. Or is it?
I live by Emergen-C, so I have to agree that this is probably what saved you from the flu plague! 1000mg of Vitamin C is not bad for you, and I recently heard the drink also has B vitamins to give you a boost of energy(if you were drinking 3 packets a day you probably felt pretty good!). Whether you believe it works or not, it can't hurt to take it and there are so many flavors to choose from that it makes drinking water fun and not a chore to try and drink 8 glasses or more a day(you know we hardly ever drink that much). Glad to hear it worked for you, I'm such an advocate of this stuff!
