Details are still fuzzy, but with very little fanfare it appears the world's first cell phone with a built-in projector has arrived. A company called Logic Wireless is claiming a CES debut of The Logic Bolt (in partnership with T-Mobile, no less). The phone has "razor-sharp" projections which can grow its screen size by 3000 percent and still retains a remarkably slim footprint, if the photos are any indication.
Everyone interested in this should review this: http://www.microvision.com/showwx/experience.html Microvision is the perpetual company. They have been working on this for 5 years, but is now coming to market in 2009. They are also working with Motorola so you can imagine what they will come up with. The PicoP uses a RGB laser diodes so you don't have to focus. I saw it at a meeting last year (I am a shareholder) and it is impressive. One other benefit is the resolution for the PicoP is much better than the one in this phone. This phone is an early MP3 player. PicoP will be the iPod. (I hope :-))
