The new El Camino Hospital in Silicon Valley is the most technologically advanced in the world. The $470-million facility features robots that carry supplies and give surgeons tools, remote robotic surgery capabilities, palm-scanners for patient registration, and infection-resistant bedside computers. Patients’ exam results, location and vital signs are transmitted to nurses, doctors and a central server over secure Wi-Fi. Medical providers wear voice-activated communication devices—a “Where’s Doctor Robert?” query provides a direct connection, eliminating noisy hospital-wide pages.
Palm Scanners beat the purpose of reducing germs.
Wireless Power too????
I would kill for one of those tshirts! I swear I'd ride a new x10 Rocket in one of those Mars Torture Chambers, carrying the new Taser Grenade Launchers. Then I'd shock the Naked Rats so they no longer destroy the Stealth Wind Turbines. Oh yah I'd take out the Wii Baby and Me too, cuz that's more then creepy.
It's like something out of a science fiction novel or a Harry Potter book. Engineers from Duke University have constructed a device that can "cloak" items placed on a mirror surface.

But hey, you took out a second mortgage on your foreclosed house for these tickets, so you’re not about to cause a scene that’ll get you tossed or walk down 94 stairs in search of a security officer who will tell you to wait till third down is over. Thankfully, those at the Super Bowl this year can merely text for help.

After countless accounts of near-death experiences, dating as far back as ancient Greece, science is now taking serious steps forward to explore the nature of the phenomenon. A new project aims to determine whether the experience is a physiological event or evidence that the human consciousness is far more complicated than we ever believed.
This is a very neat topic and I think something that everyone questions. I will definitely be following up to see if they made any discoveries. Raoul @ FireText http://www.firetext.tv
