The problem with current Electric Vehicles (etc...) is the asking prices are still too high for most individuals to afford. The cost of a Tesla Roadster is $109,000.00. Understandably, these (Tesla Roadster… etc…) are considered sport cars. Nevertheless, practical full production previous and current hybrids (etc...) are no different. Some manufactures only offer one version for you to choose from. Which are typically (Not Always) fully loaded while you can choose numerous features and models from their gasoline vehicles. Justifiably the technology and equipment raises the retail price, but many don’t (Nonspecific & Only an Example) need or want high-end models or extra features and just want the base vehicle. There’re numerous people who’d like to buy an electric vehicle, gas electric hybrid, flex fuel, and etc… but simply can’t. It would be nice to see these automotive companies produce electric (etc…) cars and trucks that low-income (etc…) families can afford. The Dodge EV & Lotus Europa S are nice, but there’ve been cars like this already. Forgive me if I sound aggressive or melancholy, but this does seem like a replay of the same thing.
