Jeffrey Sachs of the Earth Institute which is based at Columbia U in NYC spoke at what I think was the opening of the "Science Barge." http://nysunworks.org/?page_id=9 From what I was told when visiting the science barge is that it's an experiment towards producing rooftop greenhouses in NYC.
