One of the more creative hypotheses surrounding quantum mechanics posits the exact opposite. Though we can readily see only one world, quantum mechanics says that when were not observing the particles that make up that world, those particles exist in multiple places at once. There are many theories that attempt to grasp what this means, but one of the most tantalizing is Hugh Everett's multiverse concept.

    It explains why God is so unconcerned when you die; there's a gabillion of you from His viewpoint and most of you are all right. When you die, your soul recalls all your lives and you see His point. Or maybe it's the Flying Spaghetti Monster, I dunno.

    The Extremely Electric Guitar

    "In an electric guitar those special guitar strings actually have little magnets in them." . . . really? Sure about that? Actually, they are steel strings, and the pickup has the magnet. I'm not sure it would work properly the other way, right? The magnet needs to be fixed in order to vibrate along with the string. Feel free to rewrite the paragraph and delete this post; it's just a detail.
