One in Eight U.S. Biology Teachers Teaches Creationism
The results of the first national survey of teachers about evolution in their classrooms are in. Darwin would quiver in his boots to learn that in this day and age, one in eight American biology teachers teach creationism and intelligent design as a sound alternative to his theory. In fact, 13 percent of the country’s teachers think they can run an excellent biology class without even mentioning Darwin or evolution.5.23.2008 at 08:17pm - Comment by samo1864science is a way to explain the natural world. any true scientific theory can be proven through repeated testing, and can tested to be falsifiable. how can you test ID? Next It clearly states in that little constitution thingy that the government CANNOT mandate religion. If you open up the doors for ID youll have to let in every belief and opinion that cannot be tested like ghosts and vanpires. I do believe I explained it pretty well in one paragraph.
