Nearly five decades ago, Americans learned that one of their most treasured habits—smoking—was lethal. This year, we could get more scary news, when scientists announce the results from Interphone, the largest-ever study to investigate whether cellphones cause cancer.
And you think that people will really care? They won't want to believe anything until it happens to them and it will be too late. Look at Aspartame that is in diet sodas and just about any diet product and you will see people's ignorance of the product and their reluctance to acknowledge the dangers. BIG MONEY and BIG COMPANIES will try to manipulate the data, the outcome and the government agencies, to make MONEY... to hell with the public good. Nothing ever changes. Now that's change you can count on! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELgW4KBY-o4&feature=related
What exactly killed the dinosaurs? One of the most popular theories holds that the extinction event was driven by an asteroid collision. Evidence for the theory can be found in a thin layer of iridium in what's known as the K-T boundary, a (similarly thin) layer of sediment in the ground which marks where the surface of the Earth was 65 million years ago. Iridium is common in asteroids and not common on Earth. Its presence in the sediment would indicate an impact and release of the material. What happened next is still a matter of debate.
Highly speculative theories are just that. The Permian–Triassic extinction event as well as the Cretaceous–Tertiary extinction event whose causes are unknown are debatable. My guess the Sun burped.

We've been told for years that the dinos were the source of oil. Oil before dinos, chickens before eggs...experts my ass.
A rust-dappled Hyundai for $3,000, a clapped-out Geo Metro for $5,000, and a censurable Ford Festiva for six grand? Welcome to upside-down world. The rising price of dinosaur champagne has already decimated the large-SUV business, and now the realities of gasoline economics are elevating what was once the lowliest segment of the used-car market into Croesus' territory.
Dino champagne my butt! More like Earth Beer!! Average depth of oil wells in Kentucky: 1,436 feet Average depth of oil wells in Australia: 8,877 ft offshore and 6,346 ft onshore Offshore drilling in deepest water: over 10,000 ft. in the gulf of Mexico. (drilling begins at 10,000+ ft. below surface) Must have been some deep living subterranean mole dino's or could it be that the experts got it wrong? What are the chances? I'm not buying that Dino line of BS.
