Details are still fuzzy, but with very little fanfare it appears the world's first cell phone with a built-in projector has arrived. A company called Logic Wireless is claiming a CES debut of The Logic Bolt (in partnership with T-Mobile, no less). The phone has "razor-sharp" projections which can grow its screen size by 3000 percent and still retains a remarkably slim footprint, if the photos are any indication.
We ran into these guys at CES and were impressed with the Logic Bolt, as well as the designers' technical savvy. These guys are from University of Arizona (one currently enrolled) -- working hard on the cellphone projector since October. The beauty of the projector is it's cordless-wireless-mobility nature -- Having MS viewer also makes it a slam dunk for doing an impromptu sales presentation in an elevator; and is a useful tool for field engineers to access internet content for projected-display. Outdoor movies anytime! The micro projector vendors at CES were pretty shocked to hear about them... Way to go Logic Wireless!
