The hottest year on record was not 1998 .A canadian mathematician checked all of the figures and proved (and NASA AGREED)that 1934 was the hottest year recorded ,by part of a degree. This is very inconvenient for thr world renowned climatologist (of absolutely no credentials)al Bore.I noticed lately that the term "global Warming "has become inconvenient and is being replaced by the nebulus term"climate Change" .As the famous tv detective Columbo would have said ...one more question please Did global temperature not drop ever so slightly this past year? the northwest passage was traversed by sail in 1905 by amundson and again in 1940 by the royal canadian mounted police ship the Saint roch.why did the arctic ice melt then.? the renowned climatologist al gore wasn't around to cash in on these events.these facts seem to indicate that climate change is cyclical, and not caused by man.also we are now whipping ourselves over greenhouse gas emissions causing "global warming"--sorry, the phenom now seems to have a new name - "climate change" because there is negligible warming . if so much co2 has gone into the atmosphere since 1934 the warmest year on record -(not 1998 as conveniently stated by climate expert al gore'backed by the other climate expert leo dicapprio)why has the world temperature not risen proportionately? in fact it has only risen a part of one degree.follow the money!!!!!climatoligst al gore ,and in canada fruit fly geneticist david suzuki come expert climatologist also with al gore's climate credentials-"none "stand to make fortunes on investments in carbon credits----follow the money!!!!!
