TIMEKEEPING
I'm sorry to inform you but mechanical watches with an included Digital Display have been around since the 60's. In fact, not only a year ago I possessed a very inexpensive Caravelle (lower quality sister brand of Bulova) which, with a simple Bulova Automatic Movement had three rotating indicator dials, the seconds indicator even being a jump second, which displayed the time in a very similar fashion to this Porsche watch. The reason this watch is $150,000 is nothing more than one thing, Name. The movement is a very standard chronograph caliber. The Valjoux/ETA 7750. Granted, the module mechanism that provides the Power Reserve, Date, and Display is very interesting, it is not the first of its kind.
