Dell's Adamo XPS is Thin in Design (and Specs)

By Corinne Iozzio Posted on 11.5.2009 16 Comments

In the realm of beautiful, shiny things Dell's new Adamo XPS is among the shiniest and most beautiful. And, if we were in the business of judging (note)books by their covers, we'd leave that at that. That's not our business, though; the Adamo XPS is a gorgeous conversation piece, but a computer worth $1,800 it is not.

I agree computers along with most things try to display a certain image to consumers and try to achieve a certain look. However their main purpose is to achieve good functionality for their price. If you want art go buy art and if you want a laptop then I suggest you buy something other than this. Also even if the processor just slightly outperforms the atom that's still crap. Netbooks are only $300 and this thing is $1800 so I'd at least expect a better core 2 dual or quad core processor. It also lacks a decent GPU.

    Bad Market? Blame Men

By Julia Wallace Posted on 10.14.2008 12 Comments

It was only a matter of time before pop-news outlets pounced on a biological explanation for the tidal wave of bad credit and risky decisions that has engulfed the U.S. this month: it was those dang men and their raging hormones!

In this article it says that women have been found to take too little risk and that only men with abnormally high testosterone levels take excessive risks so I am confused why the title says blame men. You should blame women and abnormal men. This article appears to be saying that normal men are the best for making financial.

The Most Expensive Game Ever Developed?

By Posted on 4.30.2008 2 Comments

Rockstar Games producer Leslie Benzies says that Grand Theft Auto IV may have cost more than $100 million to develop, which would reportedly make it the most expensive game ever produced. Apparently more than a thousand people worked on the job. There's a 1,000-plus page script. Photographers snapped 100,000 photos for background scenes. And yes, the developers worked long hours getting things ready.

Or they can just type in R2, R2, L1, L1, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up. Just do that a couple times and they'll have their money.

Do you guys even read the comments? Half the stuff on here is just repeated. Also pmgj13 although being able to control a army of robots would be a good advantage you are kind of overestimating this technology and robotics technology which are both years away from anything near what you are talking about.

Electronic Arts Won’t Clean up Take Two

By Posted on 2.25.2008 2 Comments

Gaming giant Electronic Arts recently announced its intention to buy Take Two Interactive, the shop behind violent titles like Grand Theft Auto and Max Payne, plus the unsettling but ridiculously creative BioShock. Since EA isnt known for Mature titles, some in the gaming community feared theyd soften those edgier games. But EAs CEO has some encouraging words for fans. Regarding those games, he said in a call with Multiplayer, I wouldnt change a line of code.

I heard this somewhere a while ago so I'm not sure if its true or not but isn't Rockstar splitting from take two after their contract expires?

I like the new design but I prefer black. White is just too blah.
