If anything that disembellishment of the Shuttle shows, it is that Nasa is run by bird brains.
The Shuttles could have flown for many more years if the had adapted the technology of the Flying Saucer that they were offered already in 1980.
The bird brains let some other bird brains experiment with the circuitry and cause the big black-out of 2003, that cost the USA and Canada billions of Dollars in damage.
They could have made a simple phone call to ask for advice but no bird brain does that, ever.
I hope that the cat gets you before you think about the Heavy Lifter, to milk John Public out of their money.
The Russian/Chinese effort will beat you, hands down.
I fail to see why the media (and PopSci) is celebrating this horrid destruction of the US manned space program. Our knights in the digital press should be leading the charge against this crime.
"if the had adapted the technology of the Flying Saucer that they were offered already in 1980."
Of course this assumes that it really exists outside of conspiracy theories.
This is my blog
This was the worst photo gallery I have ever seen on this site. It really shows nothing of interest at all. You could have at least included one shot of the INSIDE of the FRCS. Without it, the rest of the pictures had all the allure of a roll of aluminum foil.
I wouldn't be surprised if it started singing "Daisy, Daisy" while they took it apart. R.I.P., Discovery.
Five amazing, clean technologies that will set us free, in this month's energy-focused issue. Also: how to build a better bomb detector, the robotic toys that are raising your children, a human catapult, the world's smallest arcade, and much more.
