Weapons conventions, basically the military equivalent of the Consumer Electronics Show that we attend every year, are massive events in which generals and representatives from countries around the world come to gawk at and buy that year's crop of weaponry. A lot of the military tech that we write about will pop up in some form at these events, and VICE went out to SOFEX, a major convention in Jordan, to see (and be a bit disturbed by) how it all works.
