This glorious cloud of baby stars surrounds the star R Coronae Australis. It was photographed by the Wide Field Imager at the La Silla Observatory in Chile.
What happened with old black space, with some white dots dispersed around.
Now it's full of those beautiful panoramas everywhere, they can't even see them all. What would Chilean natives had to say, if they would see those pictures, what would they think about that mystic places of gods.
Not only new eyes, we need new minds to understand what we see, since we climbed from darkness.
Well, even as a kid without a telescope, I do remember brighter stars had color to them, such as Rigel and Betelgeuse. The larger the telescopes and/or binoculars, the more color I could see, and the vistas began to open up. But yes, it does boggle the mind. It especially gets to me when they start talking about parallel universes. I think I'll stick to the one I can see.
i see a face. it's around the center of the picture. where it looks like the person has a mustache. lol ><
aha..."cloudmaster101",I see it, too. But it's a horrible face... I think...
How intriguing! I, too, see a face on the lower part of the blue cloud looking out at the camera with it's head tilting up and out towards us! I looks as if it is an older male with white eyebrows and a white mustache! Like a resemblance of God! And, as for the black space, it still exists to our eyes without the zooming technology of our telescopes. But, I think it is cool to see what little our technology can see in the universe! I doubt that the picture taken of the entire universe by scientists will remain the same for long. After all, it is just a digital image that may not even see everything, for God only knows what exists out there and in how many different perceptions existing things could exist. We may not even be advanced enough to see and understand everything out there even if we could travel out there. Those images show past, present, and possibly even future for it takes time for light to travel. We don't even know how long ago, or in the future, all of that exists! What about the new depths of space and matter forming after that photo was taken? The area in space which expands and pushes out space and particles could be a lifeform in a perception we may never live in this lifetime to understand. After all, energy transforms and does not deplete; therefore, the existance of the expansion of space may be our returning destination once we pass! It may even be our God and heavens in a perception we our too limited to understand!
