Check out those loose seams and shoddy cut and poorly mated panels on the lander.
I'll tell you what. I've always thought the never been to the moon crowd were wrong, but this is looking like a mock up craft more than the craft photos from other sources taken before launch from Earth. Every company involved with the lander has had many of their own photographs released for a long time, and I've seen a lot of them.

Wait. Nope. Trip damage and landing stresses. Cold and heat. Still, you all see what I'm talkin bout, right?

Venezuelan Poodle Moth or the last faerie on Earth?

Uh Oh. Fern Gully lives! Right where the movie says it is!

the earthquake thing is pretty cool looking

How is the fluffy moth "nightmare fuel"? He is realatively cute and definitly fuffy.

Velociter Superare Futuris

One more on that lander; just for old time's sake. Due to the apparent landing stresses exhibited by your issued spacecraft, NEIL!! Just what were you looking to do with all that piloting around, trying to stop the Borg from invading the Moon?
Now while the craft was in strict terms issued to Buzz, I'll bet Neil would be laughing his ass off.
We know you're flying anywhere you are, Neil, because we know you're stardust just like us. See you when I'm out there with you; and don't worry about me finding you sometime, because I know to look for the glitter.

quasi44 - shut up. You are NOT as funny as you believe.

That bicycle looks silly.
