The loophole in the "All the galaxies are moving away faster", theory. Our neighbor Andromeda coming at us fast. Must have some backspin on it.
We can only see the central regions of Andromeda with the unaided eye. If we could see all of it, this thing would be six times the width of the full moon--quite a sight to see!
Andromeda is actually moving towards us. It within what I call the 1/d^2 gravitational region. Next is the Hubble region (1/d^1) where gravitational "force" is less than the "force" of the expansion of space. Finally, there is the 1/d^0 region where there is no (net)gravitational "force" at all and galaxies move away from us at the speed of light.
