Images of the Week, January 30-February 3, 2012

It looks like there were some very interesting photos this weeks. I am going to have to try to make that "Alien Brain Hemorrhage" shot if only for the look of it, who knows how it tastes. I am looking at the "State of Science" map and I can't help but see that as an overall indication of education in our country. It would be nice if we could stop debating the vegetable status of pizza other pointless policy making and focus on living up to the claim of being the greatest country in the world.

The "State of Science" is a wonderful tool. As a parent in Georgia, I have a difficult time helping my son with some of his math and science homework. Now, I know why their approach to teaching subject content seemed sooooo confusing and sometimes contradictory. Because - it is. Take a look at the report for your state in the map. It's pretty eye-opening.

It would be nice if we had this kind of indepth report for Math and Language Arts, as well.

they almost had me fooled with the picture of the moon 3-d printer! damn renderings are getting good LOL.

As for the shot, OMW to the liq store to get the ingredients. that is one experiment i cant pass up! Maybe that's why the State of Science map is the way it is :-/ lol
