Archive Gallery: Cities of the Future

Its easy to forget how forward thinking some of these smart people from the past were. Our resources are becoming stretched and transportation to the cities adds alot to the cost. This grand idea is not so far-fetched.

Dreaming big is fine, but reality gives a rather hard slap to the face. In spite of scientific and technological progress, these big dreams will never come to fruition. The economics of the USA and the rest of the world are pointing to the eventual collapse of advanced civilization. It's not what I want for my sons, but they're being educated not to expect the gravy train forever.

I wonder how sad these people would have been to realize that if they woke up 50 years later there would be little difference with the way the cities look and how people get around.

Well, obviously it didnt really go that way :)
